Reem Naamani is a choreographer, creative director, and educator native to Lebanon.
She is the artistic director of Rya Dance Company which produces contemporary dance for stage, film and commercial events inspired by her Middle Eastern culture. She is the founder of Plié Dance Studio in Saida, Lebanon.

Reem's educational sojourn encompasses immersive experiences within prestigious dance institutions across Europe and the Middle East. She has a rigorous foundation in classical ballet because she underwent intensive training at the Beirut Dance Company from 2015 to 2019.

She also delved into the extensive repertoires of renowned international choreographers such as Pina Bausch, William Forsythe, Crystal Pite, Jiri Kylian, Brian Arias, Bobbi Jene Smith to name a few during her studies at NOD in Turin, Italy(2019). She also expanded her dance repertoire in the UK, receiving training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire during two consecutive summer programs. 

Her extensive choreographic portfolio ranges from serving as Head of Choreography of "The Union Parade" in Abu Dhabi (2023) to her role an Assistant Choreographer for the "Expo 2023 Doha" Opening Ceremony and as Assistant Choreographer for “Expo2020 Dubai” Opening and Closing Ceremony. 

Her choreographic endeavors encompass the creation of site-specific contemporary dance performances, staged performances, the production of short videos, and the orchestration of mass choreography for significant events, including the UAE's 51st National Day celebration.

Moreover, her artistic contributions extend beyond the stage and into the domain of film.

She has participated in a diverse array of productions, from Dubai Fashion Week for Cartiér, Nakheel's Dubai Islands Advertisement to her role as a performer in "Why? The Musical" at Expo 2020 Dubai. Her collaborative ventures with Sima Dance Company span multiple productions, including "Rhyme", "The 5th Period" and "Blur."

Alex Truglio, a choreographer, creative director, and educator native to Italy, assumes the role of Artistic Director alongside his partner, Reem, at Rya Dance Company. In addition to his creative contributions, Alex serves as the company's videographer and manages its communication endeavors. 

His journey in the performing arts commenced in his youth, where, after rigorous training in Salsa, Afro, and House, he garnered attention for his performances across Italy, ultimately leading to an invitation to audition for the Tiffany Theatre College in London. A full scholarship recipient, he immersed himself in both theoretical and practical aspects of performing arts, gaining proficiency in various genres such as Commercial and Urban, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Ballet, singing, acting, and musical theatre, setting the foundation for his professional career upon graduating in 2017.

Embracing a global perspective, he has worked as a freelance professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer in diverse countries, including the UK, USA, Australia, UAE, KSA, Qatar, and Lebanon, continually integrating his ongoing studies and research into his artistic pursuits. 

His choreographic repertoire encompasses prestigious events, such as serving as Assistant Choreographer for "The Union Parade" in Abu Dhabi (2023), contributing to the "Expo 2023 Doha" Opening Ceremony, and assisting in choreography for the UAE's 51st National Day celebration. His artistic influence extends to the realm of film, showcasing his versatility.

Noteworthy among his dance credits are performances at Camel Cup Al Ula 2023, Cartier for Dubai Fashion Week 2023, Fashion Factor 2023, Joy Awards 2023 Riyadh, Katy Perry at the O2 UK for the Brits Awards, PureHealth Opening Ceremony at Louvre Abu Dhabi, Expo 2020 Closing Ceremony, Middle East Event Awards 2021, various TV shows for Sky1 and BBC, Yas Island ADS (2021/2022), Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Aussie World, Kenichi Show, "Beats Festival," Dina Star Concert, and "Rhyme" by Sima Dance Company at New York University and Sima Theatre. With an impressive and diverse portfolio, Alex stands as a consummate professional contributing significantly to the world of dance and performance.
