Brian Gillespie was part of the core creative team shaping the closing ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai, delivered in partnership with FiveCurrents and Expo 2020 Dubai. B-Hybrid World led choreography and movement direction for over 300 dancers, puppets, and music acts at Al Wasl Plaza, marking the conclusion of the first World Expo held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Brian was awarded the UAE Golden Visa in recognition of his work on this project.
IMPACT X RESULTS
The closing ceremony was broadcast and livestreamed globally, closing a six-month event delivered by over 400 cast and crew from 56 countries. FiveCurrents later won 29 Telly Awards for the Expo 2020 Dubai ceremonies.
