Hattie Grover is an aerial artist, choreographer and movement educator whose practice bridges the disciplines of aerial artistry, Breaking, Hip Hop, and contemporary fusion floorwork.
Her movement background is rooted in ballet, which she trained from the age of three, before being introduced to Breaking and styles under the Hip Hop umbrella by BSupreme a company dedicated to increasing women's participation in Hip Hop. Alongside Breaking, she developed a deep love for House, Hip Hop, Commercial and most fundamentally contemporary dance, where she describes feeling most able to move freely and expressively from her own influences.
Hattie studied Dance: Urban Practice at the University of East London, graduating with First Class Honours, and has since performed at some of the UK's most prestigious venues including The O2, West Ham Stadium, Kensington Olympia and the Royal Festival Hall.
She began her aerial training in 2016, specialising in Hoop and Hammock, and added Aerial Loops to her repertoire in 2022. She also has strong experience on silks, rope and trapeze. Aerial performance credits include Kensington Olympia, Russels International Circus Mablethorpe and Messe Frankfurt.
Hattie is a Nike trainer and master trainer at Gymbox in both Rhythm and Aerial disciplines, where she trains members and instructors, creates new class concepts, and leads a performance course for aspiring aerialists. She brings the same rigour and creative ambition to every performance and teaching environment she works in.
