Ricky Jinks is a British choreographer, movement director and teacher known for work that is emotionally authentic, stylistically diverse and consistently high-impact. Winner of Group Choreographer of the Year 2019 and a Capezio Ace Awards finalist, he has spent over a decade building a reputation as one of the most creatively versatile practitioners working in the UK today.
His work spans live theatre, immersive experiences, music video, television, touring productions and fashion, and he brings to each project a rare combination of technical mastery and genuine creative depth. Ricky's choreography has been described as thought-provoking and emotionally resonant a reflection of a practice that draws not only from dance but from yoga, breathwork, somatic movement and coaching.
Choreography and direction credits include Rita Ora, Matthew Morrison, Pixie Lott, Caity Baser, Honey Dijon and Oti Mabuse. Commercial and brand credits include Good Morning America, Adidas, Paralympics GB, Breitling, Stella McCartney, the UEFA Champions League Final, Kiss FM, BBC, Tate Britain, and New York and London Fashion Week.
A highly sought-after educator on the international dance circuit, Ricky has delivered workshops across Australia, Dubai, Iceland, Israel, China, Germany, Canada, Italy and Poland, including at world-renowned events such as TD Italy, HDI Dance Camp and Movemeant Journey. He also creates short works and full-length productions for dance companies and academies through his own Company Jinks, which has received multiple award nominations.
